Clydesdale MSP, Aileen Campbell is to host a Clydesdale Jobs Fayre at the Lanark Agricultural Centre on Monday 25 March 2013.

The fayre, which will be opened by Youth Employment Minister Angela Constance, will bring a range of employers, education and training providers, and agencies under one roof to give local residents the chance to find out more about employment and training opportunities in the region.

Entry to the drop-in event is free and will take place from 10:00 to 14:00 and is open to all those of working age, including senior school pupils.

Over 20 companies and organisations are hosting stalls at the fayre including employers Tesco, SSE and South Lanarkshire Council. Agencies and

education providers such as Skills Development Scotland, Motherwell College and Scotland’s Rural College will also be in attendance.

Commenting, Aileen Campbell said:

"Employment is a key priority for me and I am committed to helping my constituents access job and training opportunities in the region.

"I have organised this jobs fayre to bring a wide range of employers, training providers and agencies under one roof in Clydesdale. I am delighted so many companies and organisations have agreed to host stalls and show their commitment to the area.

"It is open to all those of working age and I encourage anyone with an interest to come along and speak to the various employers and agencies who will be at the fayre.
