Aileen Campbell, SNP MSP for South of Scotland, is calling on local people to vote for Jessie Griffin from the Little Haven centre, Forth and make her the national champion of the HiQ Heroes awards, which aims to recognise the work of local heroes.

Jessie has been nominated for the award due to her work with the Little Haven centre, which helps people affected by life-limiting illness. In recognition of this nomination and the excellent work, Jessie and everyone associated with the centre undertakes, Aileen Campbell MSP has submitted a parliamentary motion congratulating her on being nominated for the award.

Anyone who wishes to vote for Jessie can do so by visiting the website at

Commenting on Jessie’s nomination, Aileen Campbell MPS said:

"It is great that Jessie has been nominated as a regional HiQ Hero and has the chance to become the national HiQ Hero.

"Jessie and the team at the Little Haven centre in Forth are a credit to the area. They put in a tremendous amount of work to offer a safe and supportive environment for those suffering from serious illnesses and have helped so many people.

"I think it would be fantastic if she was to win this award and I would encourage everyone in the local area to go to the website and vote for Jessie and make her the national champion."
