SNP MSP for Clydesdale, Aileen Campbell met staff members of Parkinson’s UK (Scotland) in the Scottish Parliament last week.
Ms Campbell has welcomed the visit as an opportunity to focus on experiences of Parkinson’s in Clydesdale.
During their visit to the parliament, the team met MSPs of all parties to raise awareness of the advice and support they offer to people with Parkinson’s.
Commenting, Aileen said:
“It was a pleasure to meet some of the Parkinson’s Scotland team in parliament last week.
“I truly appreciate the work of our local support groups who offer information, friendship and support to people with Parkinson's, their families and carers.
“In Clydesdale, 162 people live with the condition so it’s important to raise awareness of support available for those affected.”
