SNP MSP for Clydesdale Aileen Campbell this week (Tuesday 19th July 2016) visited the Clydesdale Citizens Advice Bureau in Lanark.
The Clydesdale CAB provides free and impartial advice for a whole variety of issues to anyone requiring help and assistance. The Citizens Advice Service, who last year celebrated their 75th anniversary, provide a generalist advice service on a whole range of areas, including advice on benefits, debt, employment, finances, relationships, housing, health, tax, travel and utilities.
Commenting, Ms Campbell said:
“I was delighted to visit the Citizens Advice Bureau in Lanark. The staff and volunteers who give up their time provide invaluable work in helping people in communities across Clydesdale. At a time when austerity cuts are hitting the most vulnerable hardest, the work of the Clydesdale CAB ensures that those living on the sharp end can get the help they need. The specialist services delivered by the CAB, such as the Pension Wise service, are examples of the vital work undertaken by the CAB to help those in particular need.”
“Once again, I want to pass on special thanks to everyone at Clydesdale CAB for everything that they do and for their vital contribution to the local community”
